Marjorie Peterson Webb

Marjorie Peterson Webb, 90, of Unicoi formerly of Sparta, TN, passed away, Saturday, November 16, 2019. She was born in Mitchell County, NC and a daughter of the late Josh and Eva McCourry Peterson. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos W. Webb; brothers Buster, Charles, Josh Jr., Billy, and Clark Peterson; sisters, Ella Shrewsbury and Emma Labyerie. She is survived by her daughter, Janis Warnick; grandson, Scott Warnick; great-granddaughter, Tori Warnick; sisters, Beulah Joyner, Jerlyne Baxley, Carol Street, and Irene Peterson; brother Michael Peterson; several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 20, 2019 in the East Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Home with Karl Gasser, officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00-12:00 P.M. in the East Parlor. There will be a committal graveside service following the funeral at Mountain Home National Cemetery.
