Obituary for William Bartlett FisherFebruary 8, 1928-April 11, 2018William B. Fisher passed away on April 11, 2018 at the Johnson City Medical Center.Bill resided at Monarch Court, Johnson City and was a long-time member of the Locust Street Church of Christ.He was preceded in death by parents, A.B and Florence Ferrell Fisher; an infant daughter, Sandra Florence Fisher; and an infant grandson, Carl Wayne Pridgen Jr.Fisher was formerly employed as an engineer at Raytheon and Pharmaseal Laboratories, and as an engineering manager with the Eaton Corporation in North Carolina. He was owner-operator of Memory House Antiques in Elizabethton for fifteen years.A World War II veteran, he served in the United States Navy, having served aboard a number of ships as well as at Naval Station, Truk Island.Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, William Kevin and Jane Phillips-Fisher; a daughter, Karen Foster; a grandson Brett Michael Foster; a granddaughter, Etolia Brook Fisher; a great granddaughter, Savanna Leigh Fisher-Torres; brothers, Carroll, Stevie, and Francis Fisher; sisters Belle Letterman and Betty Florence Taylor; as well as several cousins, nephews and nieces.In lieu of a funeral service, cremains will be interred at Mountain Home National Cemetery.
