William Lamar Brady

William Lamar Brady, a resident of Gray, Tennessee, passed away on July 17th, 2018.  He was born June 6, 1930 to Loyal and Melba Brady in the then small town of Alpharetta, Georgia.  He spent time in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict and later continued on to receive his education at Georgia Tech and the University of Georgia.Lamar gave more than thirty years of service in the Aerospace industry with NASA, Perkin-Elmer, and Hughes.  During this time, he was devoted to the Mercury, Gemini, Apollo and Skylab missions, and the Hubble Telescope.He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Sue Brady, previous wife, Margaret Brady, and grandson Justin Hicks.  He leaves behind his children and step-children Bill Brady, Jr. (Vickie), Cathy Russel, Sondra Hann (Tommy), Robbie Stewart (Jon Dickey), and Randy Scarborough; sisters Jackie Light (Harold) and Wynette Hoggard (Bob); seven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.There will be a gathering for family and friends to take place in Alpharetta Ga at a future date.Read Obituary
