William "Alf" Alfred Jones

September 11, 1951 - January 16, 2018

William Alfred "Alf" Jones Jr. passed away Tuesday January 16th at his home. He was the son of the late Dr. Alfred Jones and "Betty" Elizabeth M. Jones. Alf was a 1969 graduate of Science Hill High School. He was an LPN at Johnson City Medical Center and most recently, Broadmore Senior Living in Johnson City. Nursing was his passion and he loved making people laugh. Everyone that knew him loved him. He was preceded in death by a brother, Hugh Jones. He is survived by his son, Andy Jones, his former wife and love of his life, Liz Jones, sister Cindy (Bruce) Anders, brother Arch (Joan) Jones, Doug (Wendy) Jones, and several nieces and nephews. Haven of Mercy in Johnson City at 123 W. Millard Street. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Order Flowers
