Dear Jan, It doesn't seem possible that we have known each other for 35 years. We haven't been in the same places for all that time but have many happy memories that we will think of often. We were so fortunate to have you both in our lives and we will miss Wayne but are glad he's no longer suffering. We love you. Take care of yourself & the kids :).
Jan, I have so many great memories of you and Wayne. It was a long time ago, he was my first 1st Sgt and you my first boss at 49th FIS. My sympathies to you and your family. I loved you both and it hurts my heart to hear of his passing. With Love Tracey aka Airman Perkins
A Life Changer I met Wayne while I was a young man serving at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado. He took an interest in a young pup and changed my life. He reintroduced me to the joys of hunting and fishing and showed me how much Colorado had to offer. More importantly, he served as a great example of a leader and mentor. I'm convinced I enjoyed the Air Force career I did because of Wayne's guidance and friendship. I count Wayne as a lifelong friend, still enjoy a few recipes he shared, and like Jan, will miss him tremendously. Dave Seaman Parker, CO
Our hearts go out to you during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. If you need us, we are here for you.
