Heaven gained a special angel on Monday, April 6, 2020 when Terry Pearson, 37, passed unexpectedly following a construction accident at his home. He was a native of Alexander City, AL and resided in Johnson City, TN since 2002. Terry was a residential contractor who had the gift of transforming customers’ dreams into reality. He attended First Christian Church and was active in mission work with Central Baptist Church. He was preparing for his fourth mission trip to Guatemala. Terry loved all sports, especially Alabama football. He was very involved in coaching and mentoring youth sports in Johnson City. He was a member of Thunder Valley Fitness and Mountain Top CrossFit. Marci and Family,
My grand daughter Annslie played Upward basketball with Dakota this season and we met Terry. He was the most friendly gracious person always smiling and ready to stop and have a conversation. We shared Alabama roots and love Alabama football so that was
an instant bond. He has left an impression on our hearts in those short encounters and
as we learn more about him we see what a special soul he was.
We pray for your family that God will bless you and keep you and send his comfort as
he promised. Our hearts ache for you on your loss.
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. His death has not gone unnoticed with his heavenly father nor will he forget you in your time of grief.
In Christ we share your grief. Sherry Watford
Marci, I am so sorry and sad to hear about Terry. He was such an upbeat person always seemed to smile. I remember when AnnaGrace first started in my old class at Princeton prep he brought her in one day and said I just can’t get her to take off her jacket So maybe later you can and was laughing about it. I know he he will be missed by many. Love you guys. You and kids are in my prayers.

Maric this is Miss Brenda from Princeton Prep just wanted to say I’m sorry for your loss I will be praying for you and your family.
Terry was a tremendous blessing to our Guatemala mission team. He was always upbeat and worked tirelessly every day. He was such an inspiration to me and to everyone he met. He always reached out to the working men and older teenage boys who hung out at the camp and they knew he loved them. His love was a shining beacon of the love God has for each of us. My daughter Rachel, best friend Barbara May and I all had the pleasure of keeping your children in the Preschool wing at CBC on Sunday mornings when you attended. Our hearts and prayers go out to you, your whole family, and especially Dakota and Anna Grace.
