Terry has been a friend since elementary school. I lost touch with him when his mom died. My heart breaks for his family and friends. My he rest in peace. I will keep those who loved him in my prayers.

Terry Ray McCurry, 65, of Unicoi, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at the Johnson City Medical Center.Terry was born in Johnson City and a son of the late Jay and Ruth Ayers McCurry. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Danny McCurry. He is survived by his brother Gary McCurry and wife Cindy of Jonesborough; 2 sisters Gail Hicks and husband Bill and Jawina Fagan both of Johnson City; a sister-in-law Kim McCurry; an Uncle Jim Ayers; several nieces, nephews and cousins.The funeral service will be conducted Sunday, July 21, 2019 at 2:00 P.M., from the East Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Home, with Rev. Tony Trott officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 P.M. A graveside committal service will follow the funeral in Monte Vista Memorial Park.
