Samuel Jackson "Jack" Grubb

Samuel Jackson “Jack” Grubb, 79, Kingsport, died Thursday, January 14, 2021, at the James H. Quillen Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center, Mountain Home. Jack was a native of Kingsport and a son of the late Everett Grubb and Eula Roach Grubb. Jack was a Navy Veteran. He was an avid car enthusiast working as a Mechanic for many years. In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by a son, David Grubb, siblings, Kenneth, Charlie, Harriet, and Elizabeth. Those left to cherish his memory are a daughter, Nancy McCarty; grandchildren, Rachel McCarty, Preston McCarty; sisters, Sandra Clark, June Renick; several nieces and nephews. The graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 21, 2021 in the Mountain Home National Cemetery ANNEX.
