Rosetta P. Henigan, 88, a resident of Canton Christian Home in Canton, OH passed on to her heavenly eternity Sept. 5, 2015 at Aultman Hospital after a brief illness. Born Sept. 4, 1927 in Telford, TN she is preceded in death by parents Arthur M and Flora Church Cox. Brothers: Buster, C.M. and Ross Cox; Sisters: Mary Mae Adams, Ilene Broyles, and Selma (Tootie) Mobray. Surviving is a sister: Shelby Jean (Jim) Webster of Jonesborough, TN. Rosetta retired from Burlington Industries, Klopman Mills in Johnson City, TN, moving to Canton, OH in 2003 to be near her two children; Jeannine McInturff Sedon and Jeffrey W. McInturff (Valerie) both of Canton, OH. Blessed with 3 grandchildren: Shannon, Tyler and Nicole along with 3 great-grandchildren: Grady, Gracie and Adelynn. She enjoyed her bowling league, ceramic crafting, embroidery work, baking, bus trips and her Salvation Army Seniors Group, taking her turn as a red kettle bell ringer during the Holidays. Being an avid reader she was never without a book or her Bible. She was a member of the Otterbein Methodist Church in Johnson City, TN. Calling hours are at the funeral home, Friday, Sept. 11th from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m., with funeral service at 2:00p.m. Rev. Lon Tobin of Otterbein United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at ALZ.org.
