Robert “Bob” Huffine, 77, of Gray, passed away Monday, June 23, 2020 at Holston Valley Medical Center. Bob was a native of Johnson City and was the son of the late Robert A. and Sara Elizabeth Ann Jobe Huffine. Bob was a proud Army Veteran who served in Vietnam. He was very patriotic and a supporter of all Veteran’s. He would always bring coolers of water to events held for Veterans. Bob was self-employed but most knew him from his time managing the Crow’s Nest, Seahorse and Legends. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a nephew, Steve Kemp. Those left to cherish his memory are sisters, Sarah Ann Kemp of CO, Juanita Parker of NC; nephews, James “Jim” F. Parker (Sally) of Jonesborough, Timothy A. Kemp of CO; nieces, Roberta K. Dillman (Mark) of FL, Jeanine Parker (Paul) of FL, Joanna Spencer (Lee) of NC; several great nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family ask donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Pl. Memphis, TN 38105 or Wounded Warriors P.O. Box 758516 Topeka, KS 66675-8516. It was Bob’s wish to be cremated and his family with have a private burial in Mountain Home National Cemetery at a later date.
