Reed Michael Pavek, 67, Johnson City, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2017, at James H. Quillen VA Medical Center. Reed was born on August 27, 1949, in Faribault , Minnesota, the son of the late Joseph Pavek and Joyce "Koch" Pavek. Mr. Reed Pavek attended King College where he received a bachelor's degree and he was in the Navy on the USS Forrestal during the Vietnam era. Reed is survived by one brother Gary Pavek and wife Judy of Kenyon , Minnesota and two nieces Gwen Buckingham and husband Layne, Dawn Wiegand husband Matthew, and great nieces and nephews, Nolan, Cora, Olivia, Seth, Ben , Joe and Emily.
