Rebecca "Becky" Kay Castell

Becky Castell, 53, Johnson City, went home to be with her Lord, Saturday, December, 2, 2017 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a Washington Co. native and a daughter of the late Arthur John and Patsy Ann Sherfy Price. Becky was a homemaker who was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Day of Deliverance Revival Center. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Bryson Edward Foster. Survivors include her husband, Tony Castell; two daughters, Hallie Castell and Ashley Foster and husband Ruark; one son, Hank Bowman; a step-daughter, Brittany Smith; two grandchildren, Nathan and Bentley Smith, all of Johnson City; three sisters, Robin Wolfe and husband George, Teresa Gross and Julie Murr; four brothers, Timmy Price, Jeff Price, Jimmy Price and Mark Price and wife Daisy; several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at 7PM in the East Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Home with evangelist Mike Price officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5PM to 7PM prior to the service. The graveside committal service will be conducted Wednesday, December 6, 2017, in Bethesda Cemetery at 11AM. Those wishing to attend are requested to meet at the cemetery by 10:50AM. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
