in honor of Peggy.

I was so blessed to buy a house across from Andy and Peggy (and the neighborhood).
Was it 1987? Oh the work we had to do on that house! And you helped!

We could have gone into Town Acres but for some reason that street felt like home. And it was.

We were the young couple on the street for a long time and the only two story house.
Then came a baby!

Your mother bought him his first Trick or Treat candy. And took care of us. It was like a family city street.

Ruby and Dean next door and the animals took up with Nick.
Kathleen even saw him get out of the house one morning when I ran to Kroger and left Allen in charge!

And I'll never forget not being able to get into my house one night, after coming home from a trip, and I knew which home to go to! I don't know if I slept in your bed or Jan's but your parents were always there and supportive.

Oh! I forgot about this tale.
I heard Ruby and Dean were in the hospital after going to eat fish in Elizabethon? They had a car wreak and was in the hospital.
I go to the hospital to check on them and walk into Ruby's room. There was your mother and Ruby in the same room!
Dean and your dad in another!
What a tale we girls had then that day! You can imagine the look on my face to see 4 of my neighboros in the hospital sharing rooms! Those medicine days are gone!

They were another generation which will be missed for a long time.
Love to all the family.
