Nancy was a wonderful, loving friend who was like my sister and a member of my family. We shared a love of animals and both she and Dan were very special to me and especially to my mother, Opal Burden, who they treated like she was their own mother! For that reason alone, I will always honor and remember them. Knowing what a strong and faithful Christian Nancy was, I have no doubt that she is with the lord now and that Dan is right beside her! Rest in peace, lovely lady. I will always love and remember you forever.

Nancy was a light to the world and a joy to those whom she came into contact with. Though much too short of a time, it was an honor to have her as part of our family. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. She loved you all so very much.

We are so very sorry for your loss! Feelings of despair can be overwhelming at this time. We pray that "the Father of tender mercies, and the God of all comfort" (2 Corinthians 1:3, 4) will give you peace of mind and comfort in your hearts. Acts 24:15 says that "there is going to be a resurrection" and Job 14:14, 15 shows that God has a longing to resurrect his friends! We are so grateful that our loving God looks forward, as much as we do, to reuniting us with our loved ones.
