Martha Ann (Taylor) Presnell

Martha Taylor Presnell , 87, went to be with the Lord on Christmas Eve, Dec 24,2018.Martha was the daughter of Sam R Taylor and Martha A Taylor . She was a graduate of Science  Hill High School and Tennessee Wesleyan College with a degree in Home Economics. She married the love of her life , Zeb Marshall Presnell , in 1954. They raised two children , Rebecca Anne and Garry Marshall. Martha was a devoted wife and mother and loved her work with children working in education at Munsey kindergarten  school and the Johnson City School system. She was a life long member of Munsey United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Buliders class with Zeb and sang in the choir.In addition to her parents , Martha was preceded in death by her husband Zeb M. Presnell, brothers Sam H Taylor , Lynn R Taylor and sister Dr. Helen W Taylor. She leaves behind her  daughter Rebecca Anne Black, husband Gary ; Garry Marshall Presnell, wife Karen ; two granddaughters, Emily Presnell, Annaliza Anis , husband Randy , a great granddaughter Eleanor Claire Anis; sister in law Carolyn L Taylor and several nieces and nephews .The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff at NHC healthcare in Johnson City for their kind, gentle, and loving care they provided to Martha and the support they offered Becky.The Family will have a Memorial Service at the Chapel of Munsey United Methodist Church with Rev. Michael Lester at 11:00 , Saturday December 29. The family will have a private internment following the service at Monte Vista Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers , memorial donations may be made to the Kindergarten Fund at Munsey United Methodist Church, P.O.
