I went to West Side School with Martha 1st-6th Grade. She lived in an apartment complex directly beside the school. I visited with her several times throughout our days at school. She was very smart and I remember her as quiet and somewhat timid. She was one of my very first friends. The other two were Peggy Cox and Brenda Green.
I remember her Mother and Father as well. I lived with my grandparents and Martha’s parents seemed older parents than my Mother and Daddy. I did talk to her one time by phone years ago. I knew that she and Bill had no children and lived in Boones Creek. I wish I known more about her in later life.
