Louis Edwin Allen Jr

Lou Allen, age 86, of Bristol, TN, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at the Wellmont Hospice House following a lengthy illness. A native of Brooklyn, New York, he was a son of the late Louis Edwin Allen, .Sr., and the late Sarah Coffey Allen. He retired from Sperry/Univac, Bristol. He was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, Bristol, VA. He loved his family and fishing. In addition to his parents, Mr. Allen was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Alex Allen; two brothers, Kevin and John Allen; Son-in-law, Greg Alexander Survivors include, Daughters, Sara Lee Bailey and husband Danny, Victoria Alexander; step-son, Chuck Allen; grandchildren, Amanda , Aubrey, Veronica, Jessica and husband Matt, Jennette, and Jacob; siblings, Rosemary Schiano, Kathleen Krause, Richard Allen, William Allen, and Robert Allen. The graveside service for Mr. Allen will be conducted on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 1:45 P.M. at the Mountain Home National Cemetery.
