Some of my sweetest childhood memories are of vacations in Tennessee and visiting Uncle Dexter and Aunt Margaret's home and time spent with my cousins. Johnny was always so sweet. In the past years we would talk on several occasions. Though I knew that he was struggling emotionally he would still try to convince me that he was doing fine and was going to be ok. Johnny had the kindest heart, I am glad that it is no longer troubled with the weight and despair that this world can sometimes bring. We are praying for all of you that God will replace your sadness and tears with memories of sweeter times. Memories that make you smile. Thankful for the promise we have in Christ Jesus. We will see you again, Johnny.

I had just loss my husband of 38 years and was shopping at Lowe's in Danville. I saw Johnny when I needed some assistance. We started talking, and I could tell that his accent was like my cousins. I asked where was he from and found out I was right. We stood there and talked for quite a while. I told him about our church and was hoping that he wood come. I was so saddened to hear of his passing. He was such a kind soul. My prayers are with all of you during this time of great loss.

I am very sorry to hear that Johnny has passed. Outside of your mother, I knew Johnny the best. It seemed he had a 'old soul'. He would come to Bradley's Machine when he needed panel plates & we'd talk for a while and catch up on the happening. I know he's been working elsewhere for the last little bit. H will be missed.
