Tripp & Cade, I am so sorry about the passing of your grandfather. So that you all went to see him recently. You both and the entire family is my thoughts and prayers. Love and hugs.
Uncle JD was a good ole soul. Like to have fun and laugh at memories of the past. That is what his niece Gwendolyn Barnes remembers of him. Dad (Bennie F. Barnes) and him served together while station in Alaska.

An A Dream in Pink was sent on June 11, 2019We love you Julie! Peg, Shea, Karen, and Jeanne! Our thoughts and prayers are with you today!
Julie, you and your family have our deepest sympathy. John was a great friend to my family and was a great neighbor to all that knew him. He was one of the "founding fathers" of the neighborhood pool, and built three iconic homes in Tamassee Park. He was an engineer who could solve any practical problem. John and Phyllis were a fun loving couple with tons of personality. I am sure they are having a joyful reunion in heaven. God bless.
Mr. Barnes, will be remembered by the footprints he leaves behind. Footsteps of kindness and hope and memories.
May God's peace be with you. "Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you...Do not let your hearts be troubled and do be afraid." John 14: 27 Our sympathy.
