Jimmy Dean Hale

Jimmy Hale, 59, Johnson City, died Thursday, June 16, 2016, at Franklin Woods Community Hospital. He was a Washington Co. native and a son of the late William Daniel and Pauline Copas Hale. Mr. Hale was a retired mechanic. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Jean Hale and a brother, Lawrence Hale. Survivors include a sister, Mary Hammonds,a son, James Hale, both of Johnson City and a girlfriend of 30 years, Nancy LaFollette, Gray; several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at 1PM in the East Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Deaton officiating. The family will receive friends from 12PM to 1PM on Tuesday. The graveside committal service will follow in Buffalo Ridge Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ray Combs, Bobby Mooney, Johnny Dennison, David Dennison, Marion Dennison, Wayne Bennett, James Hale and Cody Arnett.
