Jeffery Foster Brobeck, age 56, of Jonesborough, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at the Johnson City Medical Center following a lengthy illness. A native of Johnson City, he was a son of Claude and Glenna Edwards Brobeck. Mr. Brobeck was commonly known as the "Wholesale Man" in Automotive Industry in the Tri-cities. He was member of Piney Grove Freewill Baptist Church, and was a devoted, loving husband and father who was always very proud of his family. Survivors include his wife, Janet Brobeck, Jonesborough; daughter, Stephanie Brobeck, Johnson City; son, Stephen Brobeck, Limestone; daughter-in-law, Lacee Holley, Limestone; sister, Brenda Jolley, Charlotte, NC. Several nieces and nephews also survive. It was his wishes to be cremated. No formal service is scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to, Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF) 383 Main Avenue, 5th Floor, Norwalk, CT 06851. The family would like to take this time to thank all friends and family for their continuous prayers and support through this time. We are so sorry for your loss. Jeff was such a help to me when I had Car Corral. A few years ago he shared with me his profession of faith in Jesus Christ. He is in heaven with the Lord.
