Dear family,
I have just recently heard of James' untimely death.
I did not know James personally but as a RN did communicate with him on occasion.
He and I enjoyed working together to find the best care possible for our veteran patients.
He was such a nice and mannerly person I am certain you were extremely proud of him and of his accomplishments in life.
He will be missed.
Please accept my condolences and know you are in my prayers for God's loving care during this time.
Sincerely,
John Lester, RN
Johnson City, TN
Jim was funny and fearless. If you didn't want to know the truth, you better not ask him. He was a joy to work with. I once bribed him to help me with something by giving him one of the special brand of red pens he liked. He made me laugh and and each time I see one of those red pens in the store, I will think of him.
LB and family so sorry to hear of your sons passing...Prayers for comfort to all.. RIP Sailor Fair Winds and Following Seas.
My deepest sympathy. I worked with Jim at Mountain Home VA. He will truly be missed.
I worked with James and will miss him. Prayers for his family and fiance.
I am so sorry to hear of James' passing. I enjoyed working with him at Salisbury VAMC. He was a kind and gentle person, and a wonderful nurse and co-worker dedicated to the care of his patients.
To his family and Callie, please accept my condolences.

I am deeply saddened by James passing. It was my privilege to work with him for several years at the Salisbury VA. He was a practical joker who also had a deep love for those he worked with and the Veterans he served. He will be deeply missed.
