Jackie Lynn Hicks Sr

Jackie Lynn Hicks Sr, age 64 of Gray TN passed away at his home on June 26, 2016 after a long illness. He was a retired employee of the City of Johnson City of almost 25 years. He was of the Baptist faith. Jackie was preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn G. Hicks Jackson and Fillmore Hicks and one brother Allen Norris and one granddaughter, Sheyanne E. Hicks. Survivors, include his wife of 45 years. Martha E. Hicks. Four sons and their spouses Jackie L Hicks Jr. and his companion Brandy Stines, Kenneth J. and Lisa A Hicks, Timothy W. Hicks and Joseph D. and Melody Hicks all of Gray, Tn. Ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren, Survivors also include three brothers and their spouses. Robert and Judy Hicks, Michael Hicks, and William and Barbara Hicks, and one sister and her spouse Peggy and Jackie Cole. The visitation will be June 30 , 2016 from 5pm-7pm, with the funeral service following at 7PM in the East Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Home with the Rev. Jackie Cole officiating. The graveside service will be Friday, July 1, 2016 at 10AM at Snyders Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Friends and family are ask to meet at the cemetery by 9:45AM.
