Helen Thompson (Thompson) Clark

Helen Thompson Clark, age 93, of Kingsport, TN, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the Wexford House, Kingsport, TN. A native of Johnson City, she was the daughter of the late John William and Belle Miller Thompson. Mrs. Clark was a homemaker and loved to paint. She loved the ocean and lighthouses and enjoyed painting those. Mrs. Clark was a lover of animals. She loved everyone and was like a ray of sunshine to all she met, never complaining, always wearing a smile. Mrs. Clark is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Clark Casas and husband Tony, Kingsport; a granddaughter, Kristina Messick and husband Robby, Colfax, North Carolina; grandson, Tim Casas; four great grandchildren, Katie, Savannah, Abby and Brody. The graveside funeral service for Mrs. Clark will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at Monte Vista Memorial Park with Rev. Gene Deaton officiating. Those who wish to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:50 A.M. Tuesday. The family would like to offer a special thank you to the staff of the Wexford House for the love and care for Helen.
