Our Peeping Tom Neighbor Helen was our neighbor for many years on Central Street. She and Paul used my fenced in children as a source of entertainment. We had a dog and they would save their steak bones for a treat for Duchess. However, they were unaware that when they called for our daughter (Beth) to come and get the bones for Duchess, she was making sure there was not a morsel of red meat left on those bones. We only had ground beef at our house and Beth never had steak, so she would clean those bones with her sharp little teeth before giving them to Duchess. Their other entertainment was watching the twins fight in the front yard. Helen enjoyed our neighborhood socials up until the time she moved to S.C. She and The Church Family were such an inspiration to all of us because of their physical and mental alertness into their ninth decades. Our deepest condolences, Peggy, but we are rejoicing that your Mom has joined your Dad.
WE are so blessed to have know her, she was a great neighbor and friend. She make us laugh, come to ouor cookouts, she gave my nephews apples when they visited, One time she told B0b I was kissing a man son our porch he got this funny look then she said it was you Bob; We will miss you Our prayers to Peggy
