God placed Guy in my life at a time I truly needed his special friendship.

He was genuine, gentle, kind an inspiration and brought so much sunshine into my life.

Although,he was small in stature he was a giant on the inside. He was so strong.

He loved life and the memories he shared about serving his country was proof of his sacrifice and the love he had for others and for his country.

I am honored and thankful to have been a part of his life.

He left a wonderful legacy and was a friend to multitudes . He will be missed more than words can express.

God speed my friend. Your dancing is just beginning and your dance shoes not needed.

I will cherish the wonderful memories and you will forever be in my Heart! ??

Much Love,
Lana Bennett

Loved talking with Guy and hearing all his stories and memories.  He was such a clever, delightful and charming person!  What a special legacy to his family!  Trish and Mickey and families, you are in my thoughts and prayers.  I know he will be missed but what a gift to have been part of his 95 years.

Mickey    I'm not in East Tennessee this week. It would have been an honor to stand with you and your family at Guy's funeral. I always enjoyed and respected your father. He must have passed that "100%" attitude on to you. I'll never forget your love of the game of baseball. I also was a fan of your Dad during these past decades on the dance floor. We often smiled at each other while we showed  those young folks how to swing. God Bless     Lou Thornberry Maj IN Ret
