Such a blessing to have known her Gail's (Ms. Feathers to me when I was young) daughter, Ruthanne, was one of my first and dearest friends when I first came to Johnson City from England at the age of 12, and Gail and JD were a second family.  They loved me like a daughter and showed me the true meaning of family.  Every time I walked through the door, there was Gail putting food on the table for me.  The very first time I left my first born for a family emergency, it was Gail, JD, and Ruthie whom I trusted.  What a wonderful lady she was, and what a wonderful legacy she has left in her daughter, Ruthanne.

My Friend To   Ruth Ann and all the family ... My thoughts and sympathy are with all of  you today.   I have many wonderful memories of Gail when she and JD  visited in Florida.   She was a God loving woman and it showed by her love for others.  I wish she could have made one more trip to Florida, and another visit with our family.  Take care and know that all of you are loved.     With much sympathy. A Very Gracious Lady I met Gail and family when I first came to Austin Springs Methodist Chuch as a young bride.  Most of the church members were related to my husband's family (Harry Larimer) and I could have been a little intimidated, thinking that I was being put in the spotlight.  However, when I met Gail, her warmth and acceptance made me feel right at home and I knew I had a friend amongst all the "inlaws".  Ruthanne was such a sweet little girl and I enjoyed having her as a student while being in children's ministries over the years.  She became a beautiful Christian lady and her old teacher is very proud of her. J.D., Ruthanne, Vivian and all the rest of the family, my deepest sympathy, but I rejoice that Gail is in the arms of her Lord and Savior.   I look forward to eternity and seeing her again.  I regret that due to physical issues, I am unable to attend her graduation service tonight.  I know there will be a great celebration for this very gracious lady. "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord."  II Corinthians 5:8 May the Peace of Jesus rest with all of you tonight and in the coming days. God bless each of you, Charlene Larimer Elliott
