Eva Elizabeth Rowan, 92, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Hyder.She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Johnson City and loved working in her family business at Family Pharmacy of Fall Branch.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas H. Rowan and ten brothers and sisters.She is survived by her daughter, Jan R. Odom and her husband, Ralph of Rock Hill, SC; son, T. Patrick Rowan and his wife, Jamie of Johnson City; grandchildren, Audrey O. Bisch and husband Jordan, Ralph Thomas Odom and wife, Jaime, Derek C. Odom and wife, Rebecca all of Rock Hill, SC, M. Jill Reeves and husband, Max of Ft. Worth, TX, Amy Rowan, Christine Harb and husband, Nick, and Jennifer Rowan, all of Nashville, TN; great grandchildren, Addie, Ashlynn, Luke, Jack, Grayson, Ethan, and Juliette; brother, Daryl Hyder; beloved nephew, Lee Wampler; several nieces and nephews.The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 17, 2018 in the East chapel of Appalachian Funeral Home with Pastor Titus O’Bryant officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until the service hour. Private graveside services will be conducted following the service.

Aunt Timmie was a special lady and I'll always remember her bright smile and sunny disposition.  She was always ready to help.  She will be missed by many, including me!
