RIP Coach Little
My dear Terrie, Gary and I are so sorry about Elvin. It's been so many years ago that we all shared meals and fun times. Just wanted you to know that I'm thinking about you and your family. Gene passed a little over 7 years ago. Gary lives with me and is so good to me. I am 86, but still able to drive and get out some. I send my love and prayers for all. Would love to see you. Of all the coaches to coach on the hill coach little was one of if not the best of all , his competitive spirit and sheer will to win was apparent at every game and practice., he taught his players first and then coached the them like no other , his time out during games was a game in itself , I got to talk to him on the phone several times in recent years and only then did I learn of his own athletic past and how impressive it was , he was quite the athlete himself , I told him my one regret was never being coached by him , but at least I got to watch him coach others ., Rest In Peace coach , and god bless the entire little family for we have lost a great one , Ronnie garland
