Edith Faye (Miller) Dupell

Edith Miller Dupell, 90, Johnson City, died Saturday, August 25, 2018, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.Edith was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City. She was a daughter of the late Theodore R. and Rossie P. France Miller.Edith retired in 1988 as a clerical worker from the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Mountain Home, following twenty-two years of service.She was a member of East Unaka Avenue Christian Church.In addition to her parents, Edith was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Edgar Dupell, in 1988, a son, David T. Dupell, in 2010, and her twin sister, Eva Wilson.She is survived by a son, Richard A. Dupell and wife Kim, Port Orchard, WA; two grandchildren, Jessica Dupell Corbin and husband Jon, and Jason D. Dupell and wife Erin, all of Johnson City; eight great-grandchildren, Heidi, Hannah, Allison, Natalee, Jon David and Joshua Corbin, Ian and Ezra Dupell, all of Johnson City; a daughter-in-law, Vanessa Dupell, Johnson City.A private graveside service for the family will be held Wednesday, at Monte Vista Memorial Park, with Dr. Wayne Emery, Minister, officiating.In-lieu-of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or to East Unaka Christian Church, 1201 E.
