Special Remembrances My husband and I have known Earl for years. One special thing we loved doing was to take a Christmas tree each year to Willie and Earl. It was always beautifully decorated - and going to their house was always such a pleasure. There were good smells from the kitchen, a warm welcome from both of them, and good conversation. Earl always remembered m my husband's birthday - and was the first to call him on that special day - how did he remember - well, they shared that birthday! Earl was so appreciative of his wife - he once told me he was sorry he didn't meet her sooner - as they would have married earlier. He was loving of his children, grandchildren, and his church. So glad he lived long enough to see Caitlin married! Every time I use my wonderful mops I will think of him - because he was my Fuller Brush Man as well as my friend. Think about what the world would be like - if everyone had Earl's good spirit, his love of his family and friends, and his eternal optimism. He will certainly be missed.
Ed, you and your family are in our prayers. The tribute paid to your father in his obituary was absolutely beautiful. I know you were a loving son to him and that he will truly be missed. We pray that the wonderful memories shared during this time bring peace and comfort - God's Blessings, Leon and Elaine
Willie, Ed and Sherry My heart goes out to you and you have my deepest sympathy for the loss of Earl, he was more than a friend to me, he was the best neighbor that I have ever had, he, (and Willie), looked out for my home and kept me posted on everything that went on. I will miss him dearly. I hope that I able to be of some help to Willie if she needs something in the future. I am so sorry that I could not attend the wake or the service, but I have a severe knee pain, on top of my many other problems, that limits my walking more that a few feet at a time, even with a walker. May God bless you and your families
