Connor McDowell, age 26, of Johnson City, passed away Wednesday evening, July 13, 2016 at the Johnson City Medical Center. Connor was a native of Plano, Texas, but spent most of his life in Johnson City. Connor was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lennis Cipy; grandfather, Myles McDowell; and an aunt, Laurie Cipy Mayfield. Connor is survived by his mother and step-father, Marie and Lonnie Cole; two sisters, Casey Wells and Savannah McDowell; two brothers, Eli McDowell and Dylan McDowell; three nephews, Trevor, Kaden and Victor Wells. Connor is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friend Monica Hairston. Connor made the most of life, fought hard and never took anything for granted. He had a lust for knowledge and a brilliant mind. He loved music, Anime, Bugattis, and his aptly named cat Demon. There are no words to describe how much he was loved and will live in his families hearts forever. *He was adamantly opposed to the ancient alien theories. Connor u are truly missed. The Friday before u left will play in my mind forever. U was so happy that day, I love u
Marie u r the strongest women I know. Thank u for letting me be apart of ur family. Keeping u and the family in my prayers. Love u
Maria, Savannah, Casey, Dylan, and Eli...... I remember your family from Cherokee Elementary and watched as you cared for Connor's needs as the disease took it's toll. I know you took very good care of Connor and will miss him terribly. Please know that many people will be thinking and praying for you during this stressful time.
To Marie: I've never met a stronger woman than you who loved her children more than life itself and put her children's needs way before hers. I admire you for your hard work and love you have for your children. Connor was very fortunate to have you as his mother. Connor has a special place in my heart. His stubborn nature will stick with me forever. Praying for you and your family, Victoria Underwood
I miss you everyday Connor.
