FUN I was visiting Joe and Lucy, when I was about 7.....looooong time ago. Joe was roofing their house,,, I could not stop saying "I WANT UP THERE"! SUDDNELY..a voice from below said "aah let that gal hav some fun"....and NO it was not my mom, JANICE or my stepdad Junior. It to my surprise was LUCY lifting me to 4th step and said "hold on sides and go 1 at time slow". My quick response was "OK"! With a smiled from ear to ear.She stood at the bottom while JOE intercepted me 2 steps from the top of ladder,,, ! After 3 shingles I was hammering alone,,, not really roofing but WOOOW THE FUN,,!!! Now 45 years later..I have the memories, still in my heart, and have shared the fun of that day with my children,, and many others thru the years. Each time i see a man roofing i remember this so awesome nite and day at JOE and LUCY,,,,GOD BLESSED ME TO SHARE the story tonight with more people I love... Dear Family ..I love ALL of you ! God has each of you in his arms, now and always....
