Carol Ann Pierce

Carol Ann Onks Pierce, age 60, of Johnson City, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at the Holston Valley Medical Center following a brief illness. A native of Johnson City, she was a daughter of the late Glen and Ellen Saylor Onks. Ms. Pierce was a graduate of University High School and East Tennessee State University. She loved Tennessee Football and animals. Ms. Pierce enjoyed working at her dad's store, Paint and Lacquer Supply where she was well respected for her trade. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Onks. Survivors include a niece, Ivy Painter and husband Jason, and their children Owen and Kinley; nephew, Daniel Onks and wife Clayton and her children, Jones and Mary Reagan. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 21, 2017 in the East Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Home from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. The graveside service will follow at Monte Vista Memorial Park.
