Buddy Lester Walker

Buddy Maupin Walker, 70, 816 Kingsprings Road, Johnson City, TN. Passed away, Friday June 2, 2017 at Lakebridge Health Care after a battle with lung cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents JC and Hazel Maupin Walker, Johnson City. He is survived by a daughter Patricia, two brothers Billy Ray Walker and wife Faye and Jeff Walker of Johnson City, a sister Earlene Walker Miller, Johnson City , Three nephews Chris Walker, Myrtle Beach, Brian Walker, Johnson City, Timmy Miller, Erwin a niece Kim Miller Alford, Johnson City, several cousins , a special cousin Betty Maupin Arrowood who was more like a sister, a special friend Tony Bennett. He will be cremated and a memorial service where he attended will be held at Way of the Cross Baptist Church. Guy Street with Jack Dykes, Jack Maupin and Larry Chase will be officiating. The service will be held Monday, June 19th at 7:00 P.M. He was employed by American Water Heater until a battle with bladder cancer years ago which he over came. He was known by his friends and neighbors as always sittin on his front porch. Those who wanted to send flower can make a donation to the American Cancer Society.
