Bryson Rhett Mitchell

Bryson Rhett Mitchell, 6 day infant son of Clayton and Jessica Arnett Mitchell, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018 at the Niswonger Children's Hospital. In addition to his parents, Bryson is survived by his sister, Cheyanna Mitchell; paternal grandparents, Steve and Ruth Ann Mitchell; maternal grandparents, Neil Arnett and Barbara Arnett, all of Johnson City; paternal great grandfather, Harold Mitchell, Gray; two aunts, Jennifer Arnett, Johnson City and Becky Whittaker, Bristol, TN. Several cousins also survive. The funeral service for Bryson will be conducted at 7:00 P.M., Thursday March 8, 2018 in the East Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Home with Rev. Dustin Howell officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. The graveside service and interment will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 9 at Washington County Memory Gardens. Those who wish to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the funeral home at 1:35 P.M. Friday. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Doctors and Nurses of Niswongers Children's Hospital NICU unit for everything they did for the Mitchell family, and would like to thank Sulphur Springs fire department for all their support.
