Agnes (Barnette) Swatzell

Agnes Barnette Swatzell, age 98, Johnson City, passed away Monday, February 8, 2016, at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Carter County and was a daughter of the late Aaron and Niagara Sizemore Barnette. She was in restaurant management for many years. Agnes was also a longtime member of Trinity Assembly of God. Survivors include several grandchildren and great grandchildren. The funeral service will be conducted Saturday, February 13, 2016, at 1PM, in the East Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12PM to 1PM prior to the service.
