Krystiana Jaclyn Crum, 15, Elizabethton, died unexpectedly Monday, April 22, 2019, in Johnson City.
Krystiana was born and raised in Johnson City. She formerly attended school in Johnson City at Cherokee Elementary, Woodland Elementary, Mountain View Elementary, Indian Trail Intermediate, then Hampton Elementary and was currently a Freshman at Hampton High School.
Krystiana was preceded in death by an infant brother, Spencer Crum, paternal grandfather, Ricky Lee Shafer I, maternal great-grandmother, Lucy Hochstetler, paternal great-grandparents, Jack and Betty May.
She is survived by her father and step-mother, Bryan and Bailey Crum, Elizabethton; her mother, Crystal Shafer, Watauga; three brothers, Korbin Wakley, Jakob Crum and Bryan Crum II, all of Elizabethton; paternal grandfather, Billy Crum and wife Lisa, Chucky, paternal grandmother, Jackie Johnson and husband David, Johnson City, maternal grandmother, Anna Lesti, Elizabethton, grandparents, Jerry and Angie Harwood, Johnson City; paternal great-grandparents, Bill and Jean Crum, Johnson City, maternal great-grandfather, Levi Hochstetler, Elizabethton; aunts and uncles, Chris Crum, Amy May, Ricky Shafer II, Gerald Sites II, Jonah Shafer, Issac Shafer, Ashley Sites, Bridgette Sites, Justice Shafer, very special uncle Charlie Crum; her cat and best friend, Kubby.
The Celebration of the Life of Krystiana will be held Saturday, April 27, 2019, at 4:00 P.M., in the East Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Home, with Pastor Larry Chase, officiating.
The family will receive friends Saturday prior to the service from 2:00-4:00 P.M. in the East Parlor of the funeral home.
